A very easy thing to do is make excuses, we all do it, “I’m not going to go for my jog today because it’s raining!” or “I missed revenue targets this month because my internet was down for half a day”. But not making excuses means you get more done and you become a more disciplined individual.

So when you have a list of jobs to do when working on your business, make no excuses. And always take the blame where appropriate, if something goes wrong – you miss your sales targets for example – take the blame yourself and make sure next month you hit the targets.

This is easier said then done of course! What I have done is made it part of my set of rules I keep in one of my business folders.

If you ever feel like this (image below), remind yourself why you are doing what you are doing, and get back working.
