- The data feed option makes listing new products a quicker process

Other Points To Note
- The service is region targetted, this means users in UK see only products sold to the UK (pound sterling), users is USA see only products sold in USA and the same for other regions.
- Have you heard of ‘Froogle’? This was the original name of the service until Google rebranded it to be more consitent with other Google features (read about renaming).
- If you are in the USA you do exactly the same, except you need to login to Google via the .COM addresses and not the .CO.UK as listed in this article.
UPDATE 1 - April 28th 2008
Since this post was written Google have made updates to the service which have made it even better, You can read about them in this update post on searchengineland.
UPDATE 2 - July 7th 2008
It has come to my attention that Google does not list products where the supplier is from a dropshipper, in their own words: “sites that sell through cataloged third-party drop-shipping programs”. There is no way they can know how companies source their products, and I don’t see why they would want to stop dropshippers as it is doesn’t matter how a company sources its products. You can read more on their programme policies page.

Hi, thanks for the info, Ive been dropshipping for 3 months now with only 10 sales so finding this info is really usefull, I know i wont make a profit straight away but desperatly need to work from home so once again, thankyou for this info!
No problem, it takes a long time to build up a sustainable profit making business online. Even more so if you don’t have a great deal of finances to invest. The great thing about Google Product Search is the visitors are incredibly targetted so traffic from it may be very low but the conversion rates should be good. Regards, Chris.
